Unless you purchased packet mailing or signed up as a VIP registrant, we ask you to attend Packet Pickup to get your Rider Identification Kit.
At Packet Pickup, you will receive your water bottle and Rider Identification Kit, which consists of a paper bib number you must pin to the front of your shirt and a helmet sticker you must stick to the front of your helmet. All participants must have their RIK in place in order to enter the start corrals at the event.
The venue offers free and paid parking options nearby and is located less than one mile from the Waterfront and Smithsonian metro stations. Bike racks will be available at the pier, and we have many more surprises to be announced soon!
CAN’T ATTEND PACKET PICKUP?
If you’re not able to attend the Packet Pickup, then you must assign a proxy to get your packet for you. There will NOT be packet pickup the morning of the event.
Here’s what your proxy needs:
- A photo or photocopy of each riders’ photo ID (a passport is okay too). Photo can be displayed on a cell phone.
- No ID is required for Youth Rider or Ride-Along participants (under 18).
