Eligibility: The DC Bike Ride Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the U.S. who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of American Bike Ride, LLC, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.

How to Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes, simply subscribe to the DC Bike Ride email list. Each new subscription will be considered one entry.

Drawing: The winner will be selected in a random drawing once per quarter of the 2025 calendar year, beginning on or about the fifth day of March 2025, June 2025, September 2025, and December 2025 from all eligible entries received to date. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification: The potential winner will be notified via email within two weeks of the drawing. The potential winner must respond to the notification email within 7 days to claim the prize. Failure to respond within the specified time period may result in forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner may be selected.

Prize: One (1) winner per month will receive a $500 Visa® Gift Card. The approximate retail value of the prize is $500.

General Conditions: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes should a virus, bug, worm, unauthorized human intervention, or other cause beyond the Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, the Sponsor may select the winner from all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation, modification, or suspension. The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries, or for any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise, which may limit, delay, or prevent entry into the Sweepstakes.

Release: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses of any kind arising in connection with or related to their participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, entry into the Sweepstakes constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without further compensation.
